Village of Sackets Harbor Planning Board Regular Meeting May 17, 2023 Call to order Pledge of Allegiance Roll call and establish quorum Review Minutes: April19, 2023 Regular Meeting Report to Village Board: May 9, 2023 Old Business #23-5 Harold Cring/Boathouse, for property located at 214 West Main Street, Sackets Harbor. Applicant received conditional approval at the March meeting and will submit the selected roofing material to receive approval and permit prior to starting the work next winter. #23-13 Jason Burto/Dell’Olio, Watertown, NY. Applicant received conditional site plan approval to construct a residence on Lot # 6, Vollum Road of the Lakeview Subdivision. The applicant submitted revised plans that incorporate stonework into the exterior design, as requested by the board. New Business #23-15 Whiskey Coop, 214.5 West Main Street, Sackets Harbor. Applicant requests Site Plan Review for new fencing between The Whiskey Coop and The Boathouse. The project is located within in the Village Core and Historic Overlay zoning districts, as well as the National Register District and therefore, requires Site Plan Review. A public hearing has been scheduled. Ongoing Items for Consideration/Discussion • New application forms to incorporate Historic Review Board determinations and LWRP Coastal Policy reviews • Acceptable windows and doors for replacement projects within the Historic District • Creation of Subdivision and Special Permit Application form NEXT MEETING: June 21, 2023 2
