Presentation and acceptance of a Freeport McMoRan Site Grant Award for the Grow In Sahuarita Program in the amount of $10,000.00 and authorization to amend the Grants and Restricted Sources Fund, increasing grant revenues and Economic Development departmental expenditures by $10,000.00. 12. Presentation, discussion, and possible adoption of Ordinance No. 2025-179, amending Title 8 (Health and Sanitation) of the Sahuarita Town Code to include residential single-family and multi- family (up to four units) solid waste disposal services in the Town of Sahuarita; repealing all conflicting ordinances and establishing an effective date. 13. The Town of Sahuarita acquired over 230 acres from AMAX Arizona and Anaconda Arizona in 2023, which is the focus of the application. The subject property, also known as Parcel 30, is located south of the town hall and the adjacent LDS Stake Center. The property is bordered by El Toro Road to the south, La Villita to the east, and the Rancho Sahuarita Specific Plan area to the west and north. A portion of the property, Man in the Maze trails park, is part of a recently completed remediation capped area.
