Town Council Meeting Agenda Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02 notice is hereby given to the public that the Sahuarita Town Council will hold a meeting at the date and time specified below at the Sahuarita Town Hall Council Chambers, 375 West Sahuarita Center Way, Sahuarita, Arizona. Members of the Town of Sahuarita Council will attend either in person or by telephone conference call. To better serve our community, the Council Chambers is wheelchair accessible. Invocation The Invocation will be given by Father Juan Carlos Aguirre from San Martin De Porres Roman Catholic Parish. Our invocations are provided by volunteers, and presenters will be accepted and welcomed regardless of religious affiliation. Interested parties may contact the Town Clerk. 3. Call to the Public At this time, any member of the public is invited to address the Town Council on any issue which is on tonight’s Consent Agenda or on any issue which the Town Council can lawfully act upon at a future meeting. Written comments regarding any item on the agenda or on any issue which the Town Council can lawfully act upon may be submitted prior to the beginning of the council meeting for distribution to the Town Council. Pursuant to the Arizona Open Meeting Laws, the Council may not discuss the items, but individual members of the Council may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Council, may ask staff to review the matter, or may ask that the matter be placed on a future agenda. 8. Approval of Contract No. 180002 with Tucson Asphalt Contractors, Inc.; Contract No. 180003 with Granite Construction Company; Contract No. 180004 with Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Company; Contract No. 180005 with The Ashton Company, Inc. Contractors and Engineers; and Contract No. 180006 with Sunland Asphalt & Construction, Inc., for as-needed miscellaneous street repair and maintenance, commencing May 9, 2017 and terminating June 30, 2018; each not-to-exceed $750,000. C. Recommendation to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control regarding a special event liquor license application submitted by the Sahuarita Health and Wellness Foundation for Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse, 15455 S. Camino Lago Azul, Sahuarita, Arizona. 9. Presentation by the Sahuarita Teen Advisory Council on their accomplishments from the 2016/2017 term. Presentation only. 10. Animal Control Program presentation and possible adoption of Contract No. 180007 with the Humane Society of Southern Arizona for animal sheltering services, commencing July 1, 2017 and terminating June 30, 2020 in an amount not-to-exceed $35,000 per fiscal year. Action recommended: approve the contract. 11. Council and Town Manager Reports and Requests STUDY SESSION 12. Presentation, discussion and possible action regarding the Town Manager’s Recommended Budget for Fiscal Year 2018 in the amount of $55,742,900 and the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for Fiscal Years 2018 through 2022 in the amount of $20,421,310. This topic will include discussion on all appropriated funds of the Town as follows: General Fund ($32,438,480); Highway User Revenue Fund ($3,112,580); Grants and Restricted Sources Fund ($1,031,980); Quail Creek Community Facilities District Fund ($703,690); Rancho Sahuarita Community Facilities District Fund ($2,328,640); Capital Infrastructure Improvement Fund ($15,862,220); and Wastewater Enterprise Fund ($265,310).
