Town Council Meeting Agenda Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02 notice is hereby given to the public that the Sahuarita Town Council will hold a meeting at the date and time specified below at the Sahuarita Council Chambers, 375 West Sahuarita Center Way, Sahuarita, AZ. Members of the Town of Sahuarita Council will attend either in person or by telephone conference call. To better serve our community, the Sahuarita Council Chambers is wheelchair accessible. Persons with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation, such as a sign language interpreter, by contacting the Town Clerk’s Office at 520-822-8801. Invocation The Invocation will be given by Pastor Brent Salsbury from Grace Church of Sahuarita. Our invocations are provided by volunteers, and presenters will be accepted and welcomed regardless of religious affiliation. Interested parties may contact the Town Clerk. 3. Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Andrew Romo, a fourth grade student at Sahuarita Intermediate School. 4. Roll Call 5. Call to the Public At this time, any member of the public is invited to address the Town Council on any issue which is on tonight’s Consent Agenda or on any issue which the Town Council can lawfully act upon at a future meeting. Written comments regarding any item on the agenda or on any issue which the Town Council can lawfully act upon may be submitted prior to the beginning of the council meeting for distribution to the Town Council. Pursuant to the Arizona Open Meeting Laws, the Council may not discuss the items, but individual members of the Council may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Council, may ask staff to review the matter, or may ask that the matter be placed on a future agenda. 7. Adoption of Resolution No. 2017-0501, authorizing the Town to enter into Amendment Number 2 (two) to the Intergovernmental Agreement with Pima County, for the purpose of amending the current contract (Sahuarita Contract No. 160008) for Police Dispatch Services by extending the term of the agreement by one year, and increasing the contract amount by $175,000, for a total contract amount of $525,000. C. Approval of Amendment Number Three (3) to Contract Number CO14-0023 with Diggins and Sons Power Sweeping, Inc., dba Diggins Environmental Services for Roadway Sweeping Services, from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018, in an amount not-to-exceed $70,000. D. Approval of Amendment Two (2) to Contract No. 160001 with Underwood Bros., dba AAA Landscape for the provision of landscape maintenance services for the Parks & Recreation and Public Works Departments to renew the contract from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 in amounts not-to-exceed $106,392 for Parks & Recreation and $101,406 for Public Works. E. Approval of Amendment One (1) to Contract No. 170002 with Hoffman Southwest Corporation, dba Professional Pipe Services for Conveyance System Closed Circuit Television Inspection Services, extending the contract for one year; commencing May 24, 2017 and terminating May 23, 2018, in an amount not-to-exceed $56,000. 8. Discussion and possible appointments to the Tucson-Pima County Bicycle Advisory Committee and Parks and Recreation Commission. Action recommended: pleasure of the council. 9. Purchase and Sale Agreement of Real Property for the Sahuarita Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Center Project. Action recommended: approve the purchase and sale agreement. 10. Discussion and possible adoption of Resolution No. 2017-0502 in support of the Sonoran Corridor as an important interstate connection and regional economic catalyst for Southern Arizona, Pima County and the Town of Sahuarita.
