REVISED Town Council Meeting Agenda Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02 notice is hereby given to the public that the Sahuarita Town Council will hold a meeting at the date and time specified below at the Sahuarita Council Chambers, 375 West Sahuarita Center Way, Sahuarita, AZ. Members of the Town of Sahuarita Council will attend either in person or by telephone conference call. To better serve our community, the Sahuarita Council Chambers is wheelchair accessible. Persons with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation, such as a sign language interpreter, by contacting the Town Clerk’s Office at 520-822-8801. Invocation The Invocation will be given by Pastor John Leonard from Cornerstone Baptist Church. Our invocations are provided by volunteers, and presenters will be accepted and welcomed regardless of religious affiliation. Interested parties may contact the Town Clerk. 3. Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by the Sahuarita Saddlelites 4-H Club. 4. Roll Call Presentations A. Presentation by Rural Metro to Pima County JTED Spooktacular participants. 5. Approval of Agenda Action recommended: approve the agenda. 6. Call to the Public At this time, any member of the public is invited to address the Town Council on any issue which is on tonight’s Consent Agenda or on any issue which the Town Council can lawfully act upon at a future meeting. Written comments regarding any item on the agenda or on any issue which the Town Council can lawfully act upon may be submitted prior to the beginning of the council meeting for distribution to the Town Council. Pursuant to the Arizona Open Meeting Laws, the Council may not discuss the items, but individual members of the Council may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Council, may ask staff to review the matter, or may ask that the matter be placed on a future agenda. 7. Approval of the October 22, 2018 Regular and Study Session Meeting Minutes. B. Adoption of Ordinance No. 2018-134, amending a portion of Title 10 (Traffic Code) of the Sahuarita Town Code by amending Chapter 10.15 (Parking Control) and Chapter 10.25 (Impoundment of Vehicles) for the purpose of outlining the areas for prohibited parking of any motorized vehicle or non-motorized vehicle on any street, roadway or right-of-way located within the boundaries of the Town of Sahuarita; and repealing all resolutions, ordinances, and rules of the Town of Sahuarita in conflict therewith. C. Approval of the 2019 Town Council Meeting Schedule. 8. Presentation and possible approval of Contract No. 190017, a cooperative purchasing contract between the Town of Sahuarita and Carollo Engineers, Inc. to provide permitting of wastewater recharge basins 4 and 5, commencing November 14, 2018 and terminating June 30, 2019; in an amount not to exceed $63,735. Action recommended: approve the contract. 9. Presentation and possible adoption of Resolution No. 2018-0570, canvassing the returns, and declaring and adopting the results of the Town of Sahuarita General Election on Proposition 469 and Proposition 470 held on November 6, 2018, and declaring an emergency to exist. Action recommended: adopt the resolution. 10. Council and Town Manager Brief Summary of Current Events. 11. Administration of oath of office to Council Members elect. 12. Recognition of Outgoing Elected Officials. 13. Adjournment Action may be taken by the Town Council on any item listed on this agenda. The Town Council may vote to go into executive session pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A) (3) for discussion or consultation for legal advice with the Town Attorney concerning any matter listed on this agenda.
