Town Council Meeting Agenda Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02 notice is hereby given to the public that the Sahuarita Town Council will hold a meeting at the date and time specified below at the Sahuarita Council Chambers, 375 West Sahuarita Center Way, Sahuarita, AZ. Members of the Town of Sahuarita Council will attend either in person or by telephone conference call. To better serve our community, the Sahuarita Council Chambers is wheelchair accessible. Persons with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation, such as a sign language interpreter, by contacting the Town Clerk’s Office at 520-822-8801. Requests should be made no later than three working days prior to the meeting to arrange the accommodation. Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, which have prompted declarations of a public health emergency at both the state and federal levels, this meeting will be conducted using measures to protect public health. This meeting will he held remotely through technological means, as permitted under Arizona law. Specifically, a live stream of the meeting will be broadcast so that members of the public may view and listen to the meeting remotely if preferred at this location: https://www.youtube.com/user/TownofSahuarita/live Public access to the Town Council Chambers will be monitored to promote appropriate social distancing. The Town Hall lobby will be opened to allow a limited number of persons, practicing social distancing, to view/listen to the live stream broadcast. Appropriate social distancing measures currently encourage wearing a face mask, using hand sanitizer immediately upon entry into the council chambers, and maintaining social distancing (6 foot minimum) from all other persons in the council chambers. B. Adoption of Resolution No. 2020-0623, authorizing the Town to enter into an Interagency Service Agreement, Sahuarita Contract No. 200045, between the Town and the Arizona Department of Transportation for the use by the Sahuarita Police Department of the Arizona Traffic and Criminal Software (AzTraCS). C. Adoption of Resolution No. 2020-0624, authorizing the Town to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement (Sahuarita Contract No. 200046) between the Town and Pima County for the 2020 Primary Election and 2020 General Election for members of the Sahuarita Town Council. Adoption of Resolution No. 2020-0625, authorizing the Town to enter into Sahuarita Contract No. 200048, a Highway Safety Contract between the Town and the State of Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety (GOHS), to accept a grant in the amount of $58,000.00 on behalf of the Sahuarita Police Department for purchase of equipment for AzTraCS implementation and authorization to amend the Grants and Restricted Sources Fund budget, increasing grant revenues and Police Department expenditures by $58,000.00. The grant is in effect from October 1, 2019, through September 30, 2020. E. Adoption of Resolution No. 2020-0626, authorizing the Town to enter into Sahuarita Contract No. 200049, a data access/exchange agreement between the Town and the Arizona Department of Transportation for the use by the Sahuarita Police Department of the Accident Location Identification and Surveillance System (ALISS) and the Arizona Crash Information System (ACIS). F. Adoption of Resolution No. 2020-0627, authorizing the Town to enter into Sahuarita Contract No. 200050, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Town of Sahuarita and the Fraternal Order of Police Pima Lodge 20, Inc., for a term of July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022. G. Adoption of Resolution No. 2020-0628, authorizing the Town to enter into Sahuarita Contract No. 210021, an Intergovernmental Agreement for Dispatch Services and Management of Associated Records, between the Town and Pima County Sheriff's Department for a term of one (1) year, commencing July 1, 2020 at an annual contract amount of $266,878.00 with an option to extend for an additional four (4) one-year periods. H. Adoption of Resolution No. 2020-0629, extinguishing a portion of a Public Utility Easement “I” located on Lot 4 of the Final Plat for The Corner at Rancho Sahuarita, Lots 1-6 and Common Area “A” recorded at Sequence No. 20163540075, Office of the Pima County Recorder. I. Adoption of Resolution No. 2020-0630, authorizing the Town to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Arizona Department of Emergency Management and Military Affairs for the purpose of requesting reimbursement for certain emergency response and protective measures costs related to the COVID-19 pandemic. J. Approval of Amendment No. One (1) to Contract No. 190039, with SOLON Corporation for solar energy services, extending the contract expiration date to December 31, 2045; increasing the dollar amount $921,434.72, not-to-exceed $4,121,434.72. K. Approval of Contract No. 200053, a license for a Right-of-Way Encroachment with FirstDigital Telecom Arizona, LLC. for the design and installation of an Intelligent Transportation System Conduit in the Rancho Sahuarita Boulevard right-of-way, at no cost to the Town. 9. Public hearing, presentation, discussion and possible adoption of Ordinance No. 2020-148, regarding the Quail Creek Specific Plan, adopting the "2020 Amendment to the Quail Creek Specific Plan," and repealing all resolutions, ordinances, and rules of the Town of Sahuarita in conflict therewith.
