AGENDA FOR REGULAR MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL APRIL 10, 2024 7:00 PM COURT ROOM OF THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING At approximately 6:30 PM, the Mayor and Council will hold a work session in the Conference Room for the purpose of reviewing agenda items and signing bills. No official action will be taken during this time. Pledge of allegiance and moment of silence. 1. Call to order at 7:00 PM. 2. A resolution approving and dispensing with the reading of the minutes of the last regular meeting of March 27, 2024. OLD BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: 3. A resolution amending the resolution of March 27, 2024 to state increase the Dog Control Officer’s wage to $300.00 weekly, to coincide with his current contract, retro-effective January 1, 2024. Sponsor: Mayor Magiera 4. A resolution adopting Ordinance # 1 for 2024 which will amend the City Municipal Code, Chapter 54, Article II, Section 54.24-D to increase dog impoundment fees. Sponsor: Council Member Smith 5. A resolution confirming the appointment of Eric Rachow, Salamanca, NY as Department of Public Works Full Time Class B Driver, effective April 2, 2024, according to the current union contract, with no April 1, 2024 annual wage increase. Sponsor: Council Member Hill 6. A resolution accepting the sole bid of Beichner Waste Services, Sinclairville, NY for the City Cleanup days garbage pick-up, in the amount of $244.00 per ton, $45 per freon item and $25.00 per television or computer equipment. Sponsor: Council Member Hill 7. A resolution accepting the sole bid of Kiss My Grass Lawn Care, LLC, Salamanca, NY for the mowing of the Wildwood Cemetery for 2024, in the amount of $3,000.00 per mow and authorizing the Mayor to sign an agreement for such mowing. Reminder of other meetings – April 15th Police at 4:30 PM, April 23rd Youth Board at 4:30 PM and the next Regular Council will be April 24th at 7:00. 12. A resolution authorizing payment of the bills as warranted and recommended by the appropriate Commissions and/or Department Heads, the City Comptroller and City Clerk and accept reports. 13.
