AGENDA FOR REGULAR MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL APRIL 24, 2024 7:00 PM COURT ROOM OF THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING At approximately 6:30 PM, the Mayor and Council will hold a work session in the Conference Room for the purpose of reviewing agenda items and signing bills. A resolution approving and dispensing with the reading of the minutes of the last regular meeting of April 10, 2024 and the special meeting of April 10, 2024. OLD BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: 3. A resolution accepting the proposal of R.A. Mercer & Co., West Seneca, NY for auditing services for the City of Salamanca, in the amount of $33,000 for 2023, $35,000 for 2024 and additional services at an hourly rate. Sponsor: Mayor Magiera 4. A resolution accepting the proposal of General Code, Rochester, NY for the updating of the City of Salamanca Municipal Code Book in the amount of $18,995.00. Sponsor: Mayor Magiera 5. A resolution confirming the appointment of Nicholas Jackson, Salamanca, NY and Joshua Carpenter, Salamanca, NY as Department of Public Works Part Time Laborers, effective April 22, 2024, at $17.20 per hour, up to 30 hours per week. A resolution amending the purchase amount of one new 2024 Freightliner M2 106 Plus single axle DPW truck, from Fleet Maintenance LLC., West Seneca, NY, under NYS Office of General Services bid # PC68935, with an increase of $3,135.00 for a total cost of $217,211.00, as approved in the 2023-2024 Budget. A resolution accepting the quote of The Pump Doctor Inc., Eden, NY for the upgrades to the Gasboy Prime fuel management system in the amount of $20,389.25, as approved in the 2024-2025 Budget. A resolution accepting the quote of Cyncon Equipment, Inc., Rush, NY for the purchase of one new DPW Stepp MFG Trailer Mounted Recycler Master Mix/Asphalt machine, under NYS Office of General Services bid # PC68930, in the amount $63,968.00, as approved in the 2024-2025 Budget. A resolution authorizing the City Clerk to advertise for Requests for Proposals for the administrative, financial and trustee services for the City of Salamanca/City of Salamanca BPU employees Deferred Compensation Plan (Model 457 Plan) for a five- year period. Sponsor: Mayor Magiera 10. A resolution authorizing the designation of Bernard P. Donegan, Inc., Fairport, NY as Municipal Advisor for the City of Salamanca Water Treatment Plant Project. Sponsor: Council Member Reed 11. A resolution authorizing the United Way of Cattaraugus & Allegany County, Inc, to hold a fundraiser on June 7, 2024 at various intersections.
