MEETING NOTICE AND AGENDA
The City Council Committee on Ordinances, Licenses and Legal Affairs co-posted with
the Committee of the Whole will meet remotely on Thursday April 21, 2022, at 6:00
P.M. for the purpose of discussing possible changes to Ch. 44 Vehicles for Hire Sec. 38;
Fares established, and other concerns related to taxi/livery companies in Salem and
Claims.
This meeting shall be held as a hybrid meeting. Councillors shall meet in person
while members of the public shall participate remotely in accordance with Chapter
20 of the Acts of 2021, and as amened by Chapter 22 of the Acts of 2022.
The sub-committee meetings are held to take action for the purpose of making
recommendations to the full council.
Individuals may participate remotely in the meeting via a remote participation platform
called Zoom. Members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to
attend this meeting may access the remote participation meeting through any one of the

Every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings
in real time, via technological means. In the event that we are unable to do so on matters
not requiring a public hearing, we will post on the City of Salem’s website an audio or
video recording, transcript, or other comprehensive record of proceedings as soon as
possible after the meeting.

reasonable modification in programs, services, policies, or activities, may contact the
