CITY OF SALEM CONSERVATION COMMISSION NOTICE OF SITE VISIT Notice is hereby given that a site visit of the Salem Conservation Commission will be held at the Salem Maritime National Historic Site at 163 Derby Street on Monday, April 8 at 11:00 A.M. The group will meet by the Salem Maritime National Historic Site sign at Derby Wharf. In the event of inclement weather, the group will meet inside the Waite & Pierce Building at 193 Derby Street. The purpose of this site visit is for the project team to provide a tour of the project site for work approved through the Conservation Commission’s 1/8/2024 Order of Conditions (DEP #64-787), including the stabilization of Derby Wharf, floating dock and deck repair, replacement of pilings, waterline repair, and utility, building, foundation, and landscaping maintenance. Know your rights under the Open Meeting Law M.G.L. c. 30A § 18-25 and City Ordinance § 2-2028 through § 2-2033.
