ID#13-231 John Steinbeck Fire Damage Repairs, CIP 9174 Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION approving award of Contract to Tombleson Inc., for the John Steinbeck Fire Damage Repairs, CIP 9174, in the amount of $149,300. ID#13-468 The Salinas Freight Depot Rehabilitation City Project 9399, Federal No. 5045-022 Recommendation: Adopt a RESOLUTION to approve an appropriation of $19,517.00 of Undesignated Development Fees to the Salinas Freight Depot Rehabilitation Project 9399 to complete the closure of the project. CONSIDERATION ID#13-471 Local Purchasing Preference Ordinance Recommendation: Introduce an ORDINANCE amending Chapter 12 of the City Code to update the City's local purchasing preference ordinance. ID#13-467 City of Salinas Industrial Waste Water and Storm Water Multi-Party Agreement Recommendation: Approve Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to negotiate a definitive agreement to provide access to City of Salinas Industrial Waste Water and Storm Water. PUBLIC HEARING ID#13-463 Levy of Annual Assessment in the Salinas United Business Association (SUBA) Business Improvement Area for FY 2014/2015 Recommendation: Following final tabulation of protests and objections, and confirmation that protests represent less than 50% of the assessments proposed to be levied, staff recommends that the City Council adopt a resolution which denies the protests and which confirms the Salinas United Business Association Business Improvement Area Assessment District Report for Fiscal Year 2013/14 and its proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2014/15, which shall constitute the levy of an assessment for this fiscal year.
