GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENTS
Receive public communications on items that are not on the agenda and that are in the
City of Salinas’ subject matter jurisdiction. Comments on Consent, Consideration, and
Closed session items should be held until the items are reached. The public may
request that the legislative body consider adding an item for consideration on a future
agenda. The public may comment on scheduled agenda items, including closed session
items, as they are considered.

ID#21-149 Planned Unit Development Permit 2019-001 and Tentative Map 2019-002;
Request to develop 37 detached single-family dwelling units with alternative
development standards and subdivide a 7.74-acre lot into 37 lots with
alternative street sections and street frontage design for interior roadways
located at 11 Hill Circle in the Residential - Low Density - Airport Overlay -
Flood Overlay (R-L-5.5-AR-F) Zoning District
Recommendation: Approve a Resolution affirming the findings and adopt a proposed Mitigated Negative
Declaration and Revised Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program dated March 9,
2021 and approve Planned Unit Development Permit 2019-001 authorizing development of
37 detached single-family dwelling units with alternative development standards, and
approve Tentative Map 2019-002 subdividing a 7.74-acre lot into 37 lots with alternative
street sections and street frontage design for interior roadways.

(PLHA) funds to the Parkside Manor Housing Development (Parkside) - Phase I project.

Recommendation: Approve a Resolution approving a roundabout concept with road diets at Airport Boulevard
and Skyway Boulevard.
ID#21-150 Contract Renewal for Emergency Responses within the Monterey County
Regional Fire Protection District (MCRFPD)
Recommendation: Approve a Resolution approving a contract with Monterey County Regional Fire District
from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2026 for emergency services rendered during Fiscal
Years 2021-2022, 2022-2023, 2023-2024, 2024-2025, and 2025-2026 for the total amount
of $2,000,000 for the five-year period.

Recommendation: Receive the Salinas Police and Fire 2021 Fireworks Enforcement Plan in accordance

Recommendation: Approve a Resolution supporting the County Board of Supervisors' adoption of a new
Five-Year Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).
JOINT CITY COUNCIL AND SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE FORMER SALINAS
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY - CONSENT AGENDA
ID#21-163 Local Agency Investment Fund (LAIF) Investment Authorization
Recommendation: Approve two Resolutions authorizing City staff to deposit and withdraw City funds and
Successor Agency funds in the State's Local Agency Investment Fund (LAIF).
