The City Council is asked to consider whether the exemption provided to residential developments in the downtown area [Salinas Municipal Code section 17-8(d)] should be repealed. ID#22-581 Citywide Sidewalk Repair Project, CIP No. 9720 Recommendation: Approve a Resolution approving the Plans and Specifications for the Citywide Sidewalk Repair Project, CIP No. 9720; and authorizing issuance of an Invitation to Bidders, with bids to be opened on November 22, 2022. ID#22-555 Acceptance of CA-COC 506 Salinas/Monterey and San Benito Counties Continuum of Care Housing Assistance and Prevention Program Grant Funds Recommendation: Approve a Resolution authorizing the acceptance of $722,305.07 of CA-COC 506 Homeless Housing Assistance and Prevention Program grant funds; the establishment and/or increase of Housing - Other Agency Match Fund Special Programs (2945.30.3240) appropriations totaling $722,305.07 and corresponding revenue budget; and authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all applicable agreements.
