ID#23-629 Minutes Recommendation: Approve minutes of September 12, 2023, September 26, 2023, and October 3, 2023. ID#23-624 Financial Claims Recommendation: Approve financial claims report. ID#23-439 State of California Department of Housing and Community Development Homekey Projects Change of Ownership Recommendation: Approve a Resolution of the City Of Salinas City Council concurring with its Homekey Project Partners on the change of ownership for each of its Homekey Projects to that of officially recorded owner and authorizing the Interim City Manager or designee to execute any required amendments or documents as deemed necessary by the state to incorporate the change of ownership, as officially recorded, on each applicable Homekey Project Property; and authorizing the submission of three separate, applicable State of California Department of Housing and Community Development Resolutions concurring with the change of ownership, as officially recorded, on each Homekey Property and allowing its inclusion in the applicable HCD standard agreement as a Homekey Project Partner. ID#23-589 ESRI Software Maintenance Renewal Recommendation: Approve a Resolution approving the renewal of various ESRI GIS products in an amount not to exceed $53,295.07. ID#23-598 City Hall Emergency Roof Repair, Project No. 8170 Recommendation: Approve a Resolution authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute Contract Change Order No. 3 and related documents to F C & Sons Roofing, Inc. for the City Hall Emergency Roof Repair, Project No. 8170, in the amount of $748,122.00, and authorize 20% of the new contract amount for construction contingencies ($365,708.80) for the City Hall Emergency Roof Repair, Project No. 8170. ID#23-606 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) Grant Acceptance Recommendation: Approve a Resolution accepting the Fiscal Year 2022 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grant award in the amount of $4,740,042.15. ID#23-613 East Market Street Cycle Track Quick Build Recommendation: Approve a Resolution authorizing the acceptance of 2023 Regional Surface Transportation Program Grant Funds in the amount of $326,000.00 and authorize the Public Works director to execute all agreements and any required paperwork with the Transportation Agency of Monterey County for the grant funds. City of Salinas Page 3 Printed on 10/5/2023 City Council Meeting Agenda - Final October 10, 2023 ID#23-616 Organized Retail Theft Prevention Grant Recommendation: Approve a Resolution authorizing the acceptance of the Organized Retail Theft Grant award and execute all grant acceptance documents, and authorizing the establishment of the Organized Retail Theft Grant appropriation of $3,573,307 and corresponding revenue budget to support grant activities. ID#23-617 Lease of License Plate Reader Cameras from Flock Group, Inc. Recommendation: Approve a Resolution authorizing the execution of a 24-month lease for eleven (11) License Plate Reader (LPR) cameras from Flock Group, Inc. with a Year 1 cost of $34,650 and a Year 2 cost of $33,000.
