COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS / REPORTS
Committee Member DeLaRosa
From the last meeting until now ordinances are passed by City Council that there is still
confusion about. Ordinance about semi-trailers, getting different answers from different
officers. People like to park on corners which creates a hazard. People complain about it
and nothing gets done. Since January 1st, I have been reporting a catering truck near a
fire hydrant and nothing is getting done about it. There was an incident with a guy on a
bike. Why so many officers for 1 guy on a bike? I want answers.
Committee Chair Lynch
Met with Red Light Camera representatives to try and create some kind of PSA for new
Red-Light Cameras. Went to the Chief’s Speech about the State of the PD, it was a
wonderful event. Went on a ride along with Officer Sutton, he is a great officer. Offered
congratulations on report of homicides being down.
ADJOURNMENT
Meeting was adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
