ADJOURNMENT – The next Regular City Council Meeting will be held on August 27, 2024 at 7:00 pm POSTING: I declare a copy of this agenda was posted at City Hall, 567 El Camino Real, San Bruno, among other locations in the city limits of San Bruno, on August 5, 2024, by 4:00 pm 1  RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - __ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BRUNO APPROVING A WRITTEN ARGUMENT IN FAVOR OF A CITY MEASURE THAT AUTHORIZES THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS TO FINANCE MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY COUNCIL TO FILE SUCH WRITTEN ARGUMENT WHEREAS, by prior resolution, the City Council called a general municipal election for November 5, 2024 (the “Election”), to be consolidated with the statewide general election to be held on that same date; WHEREAS, by prior resolution, the City Council submitted to the voters at the Election an ordinance that would approve the issuance of general obligation bonds to finance municipal improvements (the “Measure”); WHEREAS, at its meeting on July 23, 2024, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2024-67 setting priorities for filing written arguments related to the Measure and authorizing Vice Mayor Michael Salazar and Councilmember Tom Hamilton to file a written argument in favor of the Measure; WHEREAS, at least three members of the City Council have authored a written argument in favor of the Measure; and WHEREAS, all members of the City Council desire authorization to file the written argument in favor of the Measure. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Bruno, California, hereby: (i) approves the written argument in favor of the Measure as presented at its meeting on August 6, 2024, and (ii) authorizes Mayor Rico E.
