The Zoning Board of Adjustments may adjourn into executive session to consider any item on the agenda if a matter is raised that is
appropriate for Executive Session discussion. An announcement will be made on the basis for the Executive Session discussion. The
Zoning Board of Adjustments may also publicly discuss any item listed on this agenda for Executive Session.

IV. Citizen Comment Period: Persons wishing to participate/speak remotely (online) during the
Citizen Comment Period must email planninginfo@sanmarcostx.gov no later than 12:00 p.m. on the
day of the meeting. Written comments received prior to 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting will be
emailed to the Board Members. Written comments received after the deadline will be provided to
the Board Members at the meeting. Those wishing to speak in person may sign up in advance or
appear in the City Council chambers at the time the item is called. Comments shall have a time limit
of three minutes each and speakers must state their name.
V. PUBLIC HEARINGS Persons wishing to participate/speak remotely (online) during the Public
Hearings must email planninginfo@sanmarcostx.gov no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day of the
meeting. Written comments received prior to 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting will be emailed to
the Board Members. Written comments received after the deadline will be provided to the Board

a. VR-23-10 (McCoy Corporation) Hold a public hearing and consider a request by
Eckermann Engineering, Inc. on behalf of McCoy Corporation for a variance to Section
5.1.5.9.B.2 of the San Marcos Development Code, which states that a Type D transitional
protective yard as per Table 7.8 of the Development Code is required in all instances, along
the entire perimeter of the property.
VI. Action Items
a. Consider approval of the 2024 meeting date calendar, including the meeting time, and
provide feedback to staff.
VII. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. This is an opportunity for the Press and
Public to ask questions related to items on this agenda. Comments shall have a time limit of three
minutes each and speakers must state their name. The allotted time will commence at the
beginning of the speakers remarks and will include time spent in discussion with Commissioners
and staff. Any questions which are unable to be addressed in the allotted timeframe, or for which
answers are not immediately available can be addressed outside the meeting.
