No Public Comment was received. Presented. CITY MANAGER REMARKS City Manager Rodriguez made the following announcements: •The Community Services Department is planning the final details to the upcoming 4th of July, 2024 Multicultural Celebration event. This year, there will be live music show, and carnival games and an expanded aerial light show instead of a traditional firework show. •The Firework Education Campaign has been launched, outreach to the community has been updated on all social media platforms in efforts to educate the public about the dangers of fire and risk to public safety when using illegal fireworks. •The upcoming service of Dumpster Day scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2024. •City staff is working with the Contra Costa County Emergency Preparedness group in preparing for the excessive 10-day heat warning over the next two-week period. •The Wednesday, July 10, 2024, the City Council will be holding a Special Meeting to discuss San Pablo ’s Housing Policy Workshop following the adoption of the City Housing Element. There were approximately 3 public speakers.
