Details: Staff prepared plans, specifications and contract documents for the Water Tank Exterior Surface Cleaning/Rehabilitation Project. This project will remove mildew from the exterior surface of the water tanks which is detrimental to the paint system coating along with repairing a leak on HWY 97 elevated tank. The project was advertised and a total of three (3) bids were received and opened on September 10, 2024. Viking Painting, LLC. submitted the lowest bid (see attached bid tabulation). Start of construction is anticipated to be late November, 2024 with a 60 calendar day duration to substantial completion. Staff recommends approval of the contract award. Details: The Lost City Sanitary Sewer Interceptor was constructed in 1984 and receives sewage from the Rolling Oaks lift station force main and by gravity flows to the Lost City lift station where sewage is pumped across the Arkansas River to the City of Sand Springs WWTP. Over the years, the concrete interior surface of 13 (thirteen) existing manholes have been damaged by H2S gas from the receiving Rolling Oaks lift station force main and need to be rehabilitated. The new interior coating will provide structural support and be resistance to H2S attack. The interceptor will be carrying future sewage from the new proposed Berryhill development area. Staff prepared plans, specifications and contract documents for the Lost City Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Manhole Rehabilitation Project. The project was advertised and a total of one (1) bids was received on September 10, 2024 by Sapulpa Diggging, Inc. (see attached bid tabulation). Start of construction is anticipated to be November 2024 with a 90 calendar day duration to substantial completion.
