Smith welcomed all those in attendance. Korban Lee offered the opening prayer. Maren Barker led the audience in the pledge. Sandy City, Utah Page 1 Printed on 7/20/2016 City Council Meeting Minutes July 12, 2016 Agenda Planning Calendar Review Chairman Stephen P. Smith reviewed the upcoming Agenda Calendar. Citizen Comments Paul Godot, 10359 Eagle Cliff Way, spoke concerning the Fratelli Restaurant Rezone that would be coming to the Council in the near future. He asked the Council Members to consider the history of this property and asked that they base their decision on evidence and facts. Council Member Business Steve Fairbanks presented a citizen recognition form to the Council. He stated that he would like to recognize June Davidison for celebrating her 100th Birthday. All Council Members supported Mr. Fairbanks in this recognition. Scott Cowdell noted that there were several properties on 700 East that needed weeds cut down. He then asked that Code Enforcement go out and take a look at the properties. Linda Saville stated that in light of what has been going on in the Country regarding Police Officers, she would like the Council to do something for Sandy's Police and Fire Departments to show our appreciation. Maren Barker stated that she attended the most recent Planning Commission meeting, she then gave a report to the other Council Members. Chris McCandless brought in an article regarding development that he wanted to share with the Council. Council Office Director's Report No report was given. Mayor's Report No report was given. CAO Report No report was given. Consent Calendar Approval of the Consent Calendar A motion was made by Kristin Coleman-Nicholl, seconded by Steve Fairbanks, to approve the Consent Calendar.
