266 City Council, is seeking to make a minor amendment to the General Plan
Goals and Policies.

A motion was made by Kristin Coleman-Nicholl, seconded by Stephen Smith, to
adopt Ordinance #17-23 which makes a minor amendment to the City's General
Plan, thus adding the proposed Policy 7.3 to the Urban Design Goal to the Goals
and Policies section of the Sandy City General Plan with amendment stated by
Mr. Smith: To preserve the neighborhood character of existing rural areas that
are contiguous to Dimple Dell Park by maintaining the open look and
atmosphere of large lots and large animal rights along major corridors of these
areas, e.g. Dimple Dell Road, etc.... The motion carried by the following vote:
