Council Member Business Council Member Christensen recommended a quarterly budget review. Council Member Fairbanks reported on his attendance at the Utah League of Cities and Towns meeting, upcoming legislation. Chief Thacker responded to a question about the impact of Operation Rio Grande. Council Member Robinson reported on a new standing meeting with residents at the Sandy Senior Center. Council Office Director's Report Michael Applegarth chose to give Dustin Fratto and Pam Lehman the night off since there is one agenda item. Mayor's Report Mayor Bradburn expressed gratitude to the Council for being part of the Sandy team and discussed new organizational and personnel changes. Assistant CAO Korban Lee discussed his role in the new organizational structure. Assistant CAO Shane Pace also offered comments on his role in the new structure. He also requested an accounting for the ReAL soccer stadium, Hale Centre Theatre, and other RDA projects. Josh Sundae spoke in favor of live streaming but at a smaller cost. Monica Zoltansky spoke about Dimple Dell Preservation Community upcoming events. She also spoke about budget and policy efforts and requests to make Dimple Dell preservation a top priority. She recommended a per diem fund for newly elected (incoming) officials. Debra Schoenberg-Caffner spoke as the Chair of the Dimple Dell Advisory Board and the opportunities to work with the City. Council Items The Council continued with the interview of Matt Huish. Meeting went into Recess Meeting Reconvened A motion was made by Maren Barker, seconded by Kristin Coleman-Nicholl, to convene closed session for the purpose of discussing professional compentency...
