CALL THE SPECIAL MEETING TO ORDER AND ESTABLISH A QUORUM
Mayor Muir called the special meeting to order at 6 00 p m

City Manager John Noblitt, and City Secretary Kelly Edwards

EXECUTIVE SESSION
Pursuant to Sec 551 071 of the Texas Government Code, " Consultation with Attorney," the City
Council will convene into executive session to deliberate ( 1) legal issues associated with
procedures relative to personnel/ Human Resources practices, rules, policies and applicable law,
and all matters incident and related thereto, and ( 2) deliberate any modifications or
amendments to the scope of services to be provided by outside counsel, and all matters
incident and related thereto

RECONVENE INTO SPECIAL SESSION
The City Council will reconvene into open session to take action regarding any matter discussed
in executive session that is related to the subject matter as stated.
Council reconvened into open session at 8: 32 p. m.
Action or No action taken.
Motion to authorize the Mayor to execute an amended scope of services letter with
Brown & Hofmeister, LLP, made by Councilmember Bilyeu, Seconded by
Councilmember Chick.
Ayes: Barrett, Bilyeu, Chick, Dillon, and Gann.
Nays: None
Motion passed unanimously.
ADJOURN
There being no further business, Mayor Muir adjourned the meeting at 8: 33 p. m.

on its open meeting agenda in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, including,
without limitation Sections 551.071-551.087 of the Texas Open Meetings Act.
