Appoint one applicant to serve on the Senior Advisory Commission for a full-term ending June 30, 2025; and 2. Establish an eligibility list that may be used to fill vacancies which may occur during the next six months. 3. 21-753 Action on Declaring a Vacancy on the Historical and Landmarks Commission, Accept the resignation submitted by Commissioner Stephen Estes effective June 4, 2021; Interviews and Action on two Appointments to fill two vacancies to the Historical and Landmarks Commission Recommendation: 1. Accept the resignation of outgoing Commissioner Stephen Estes effective June 4, 2021; and appoint two candidates to serve on the Historical and Landmarks Commission for a full-term each ending June 30, 2025. 4. 21-754 Action on Declaring a Vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Commission, Accept the Resignation submitted by Commissioner Derreck Carter-House; Interviews and Action on two Appointments to fill one partial term and one full-term to the Parks and Recreation Commission Recommendation: 1. Accept the resignation of outgoing Commissioner Derreck Carter-House effective May 23, 2021; and appoint two candidates to serve on the Parks & Recreation Commission for a partial-term ending June 30, 2024 and one full-term ending June 30, 2025. 2. MEETING DISCLOSURES The time limit within which to commence any lawsuit or legal challenge to any quasi-adjudicative decision made by the City is governed by Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure, unless a shorter limitation period is specified by any other provision. Under Section 1094.6, any lawsuit or legal challenge to any quasi-adjudicative decision made by the City must be filed no later than the 90th day following the date on which such decision becomes final. Any lawsuit or legal challenge, which is not filed within that 90-day period, will be barred. If a person wishes to challenge the nature of the above section in court, they may be limited to raising only those issues they or someone else raised at the meeting described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Santa Clara, at or prior to the meeting. In addition, judicial challenge may be limited or barred where the interested party has not sought and exhausted all available administrative remedies. Note: The City Council and its associated Authorities meet as separate agencies but in a concurrent manner. Actions taken should be considered actions of only the identified policy body.
