Recommendation: 1. Adopt a Resolution to approve a Variance to expand into the front setback by 6’-6” to create additional living space for a residence located at 1296 Chapel Drive PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS Members of the public may briefly address the Commission on any item not on the agenda. Adopt a Resolution Recommending that the City Council Adopt the revised Zoning Map, consistent with the City’s General Plan land use diagram. 3. 24-799 Public Hearing: Action on an Appeal (PLN24-00356) of the Architectural Review Approval of a 498 Square Feet Single-Story Addition Located at 1485 Bellomy Street Recommendation: 1. Determine the project to be Categorically Exempt per CEQA Guidelines section 15301 (e)(2) (Class 1 - Existing Facilities); and 2. Adopt a resolution overruling the appeal and upholding the July 5, 2024, Architectural Review approval to allow the construction of 498 square feet single-story addition, interior remodel, and a new roof on a 674 square feet single-family residence at 1485 Bellomy Street, subject to findings and conditions of approval. 4. 24-730 Public Hearing. Action on a Rezone (PLN23-00208) from PD - Planned Development to HI - Heavy Industrial and Variance for Parking for the Property Located at 2201 Lafayette Street Recommendation: 1. Determine the project is consistent with a Class I Categorical Exemption per Section 15301, Existing Facilities of the CEQA Guidelines; 2. Adopt a resolution approving the Variance for parking, including the required findings; and 3. Adopt a resolution recommending City Council approve the Rezone from Planned Development (PD) to Heavy Industrial (HI) for the property located at 2201 Lafayette Street, subject to findings and conditions of approval. Under Section 1094.6, any lawsuit or legal challenge to any quasi-adjudicative decision made by the City must be filed no later than the 90th day following the date on which such decision becomes final. Any lawsuit or legal challenge, which is not filed within that 90-day period, will be barred. If a person wishes to challenge the nature of the above section in court, they may be limited to raising only those issues they or someone else raised at the meeting described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Santa Clara, at or prior to the meeting. In addition, judicial challenge may be limited or barred where the interested party has not sought and exhausted all available administrative remedies.
