CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Present 8 - Chair Beth Dadko, Board Member Jim Pedgrift, Board Member Christine Dektor, Board Member Adam Brown, Board Member Barbara Moulton, Vice Chair Shaun Ralston, Board Member Kim O Badenfort, and Board Member Doug McKenzie Absent 1 - Board Member Mike Lopez 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2.1 3. COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS None 4. STATEMENTS OF ABSTENTION BY BOARD MEMBERS None 5. REPORT ITEMS 5.1 MOTION - Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article III Revenues and Projects proposed for Fiscal Year (FY) 2018/2019. RECOMMENDATION: The Board, by motion, may support the staff’s recommendation to allocate $90,000 of FY 2018/19 TDA funds to construct Class II bike lanes on E Street between College Avenue and Sonoma Avenue. RECOMMENDATION The Board, by motion, supported the staff's recommendation to allocate $90,000 of FY 2018/19 TDA funds to construct Class II bike lanes on E Street between College Avenue and Sonoma Avenue, with the friendly amendment to emphasize buffered bike lanes. 5.2 Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Update 2018 - Kick off Meeting Recap City of Santa Rosa Regular Meeting Minutes Page 2 of 2 Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Regular Meeting Minutes - Final January 18, 2018 Board Board to provide additional input on the Community outreach components that were discussed at the Consultant’s kick off meeting for the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Update. PUBLIC COMMENTS Duane DeWitt commented that surveys do better with more outreach efforts, to make community engagement more meaningful for all, and offered to help as a stakeholder. Christine Talbot commented that the survey might be too long. 6. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA MATTERS Christine Talbot introduced herself as representing the Midtown 4th group, and extended an invitation to attend their walking workshop event on February 23. 7. CHAIR/BOARD MEMBERS' ANNOUNCEMENTS Boardmembers spoke about their participation in upcoming community events, including the Welcome Roseland event and the Women's March. 8. STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS The Bike Share grant has been received. The green bike lane project for twelve locations is in process and currently in Purchasing. 9. ADJOURNMENT OF REGULAR MEETING Meeting adjourned at 6:03 p.m. Disability-related aids or services, including printed information in alternate formats, to enable persons with disabilities to participate in public meetings are available by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at 543-3016 one week prior to the meeting. Any writings or documents provided to a majority of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board regarding any item on this agenda will be made available for public inspection at the Transportation of Public Works Department located at 69 Stony Circle, during normal business hours.
