1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Chair Galvin called the meeting of the Board of Public Utilities to
order at 1:30 p.m.
Present 5 - Chair Daniel Galvin III, Board Member William Arnone Jr., Board
Member Richard Dowd, Board Member Christopher Grabill, and
Board Member Lisa Badenfort
Absent 1 - Board Member Mary Watts
2. STATEMENTS OF ABSENTION BY BOARD MEMBERS
No statements of abstention were made by Board Members.
3. STUDY SESSION
3.1 UPDATE ON WATER QUALITY ADVISORY FOR FOUNTAINGROVE AREA
On November 10, 2017, Santa Rosa Water issued a Do-Not-Drink and
Do-Not-Boil Water Quality Advisory for 13 homes in an isolated area of
Fountaingrove as a result of the October fires. Water Quality testing after the fires
revealed elevated levels of benzene in an isolated area of the City’s water
distribution system. Staff will provide the Board an update on the on-going
investigation and actions that Santa Rosa Water is taking to address this water
quality issue.

Chair Galvin adjourned the meeting at 2:33 p.m.

will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 1:30 p.m., in the Council
Chamber, City Hall, 100 Santa Rosa Ave., Santa Rosa.
