CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Mayor Coursey called the closed session meeting to order at 5:18 p.m. Present: 7 - Mayor Chris Coursey, Vice Mayor Chris Rogers, Council Member Julie Combs, Council Member Ernesto Olivares, Council Member John Sawyer, Council Member Tom Schwedhelm and Council Member Jack Tibbetts 2. PUBLIC COMMENT (Public Comment will be limited to the items listed on the Special Meeting Agenda) Mio Villagomez spoke in support of the homeless encampments. Scott Wagner spoke in opposition to the homeless encampment evictions. Bruce Pearson, with Homeless Action Committee, spoke in support of transitional housing without individual case management workers. Adrienne Lauby provided a handout and spoke in opposition to the homeless encampment eviction in Roseland. Thomas Ells spoke in opposition to the homeless encampment evictions; and in support of finding other housing solutions for the homeless. 3. ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLOSED SESSION ITEMS Mayor Coursey recessed the meeting to closed session at 5:32 p.m. to discuss Item 3.1 as listed on the agenda: CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to paragraph (2) of City of Santa Rosa Special Meeting Minutes Page 2 of 2 City Council Special Meeting Minutes - Final March 27, 2018 subdivision (d) and paragraph (3) of subdivision (e) of Government Code Section 54956.9: potential cases unknown Attachments: Attachment 1 Attachment 2 4.
