1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Chair Weeks called the meeting to order at 6:00PM.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
3.1 April 26, 2023 Regular Meeting Minutes.
Approved as submitted.

5. SCHEDULED ITEMS
5.1 PRESENTATION - MYSANTAROSA APP
Lon Peterson, Director CIRO, provided information regarding the
new Santa Rosa City App and answered CAB Member questions.
Public Comment: Unidentified citizen requested adding a feature to
the app where the public can upload videos/info about Santa Rosa.
5.2 CIVIC READY LOGIN UPDATE
Lon Peterson, Director CIRO, reported that language
translation has been added to the sign up process for Civic
Ready.

Public Comment:

5.3 ISSUES OF CONCERN TO CITY RESIDENTS
Member Diaz de Leon discussed upcoming Pride events
including June 2nd event at La Rosa Restaurant, and noted
issues at past Cinco de Mayo celebration.
Member Lange commented upon Juneteenth event at Julliard
Park and issues regarding public events. Member Lange also
reported on concerns with customer based relations.
Member Chen commented upon attending an Asian American
and Pacific Island healing concert at Paradise Ridge. Member
Chen also reported on an educational seminar for college
preparedness at Sonoma Clean Power Event Center.
Member Inocencio commented that the Elsie Allan Rugby
Club had an undefeated season and won their state
championship.
Member Barnett commented that May is bike month and
provided information regarding an app to help prevent bike
theft.
Members discussed the June 3rd Prince Memorial Greenway
Park cleanup.

This is the time when any person may address matters not listed on this
agenda, but which are within the subject matter of the jurisdiction. The public
may comment on agenda items when the item is called. Public Comment may
be made live during the meeting via Zoom. Each speaker is allowed three
minutes. Public comments may also be submitted by 5:00 pm, the Tuesday
before the CAB meeting via e-mail at communityengagement@srcity.org.
Email public comments will be provided to all CAB members prior to the
meeting.

4. STAFF UPDATES
This time is reserved for City staff to provide a briefing on issues of interest.
No action will be taken on these matters except to possibly place a particular
item on a future agenda for consideration.
5. SCHEDULED ITEMS
5.1 MYSANTAROSA APP OVERVIEW
The City of Santa Rosa has a mobile app, called MySantaRosa, that offers
24-hour digital assistance to its residents and businesses. App users can
submit service requests (i.e.: repair a pothole, prune a tree, remove graffiti)
and report issues of concern in their communities. MySantaRosa is also
available as a browser-based application at srcity.org/MySantaRosa
City staff will provide some information on the app and it's intended use.

5.2 CIVIC READY LOGIN UPDATE
The City of Santa Rosa placed a product feature request with CivicReady
to build translation functionality into the platform’s sign-up form. With
coordination with the City, the ticket was elevated, and a resolution has
been reached with a Google translate drop-down menu, much like how
SRCity.org functions. We will be going over the new functionality live at
the meeting.
5.3 ISSUES OF CONCERN TO CITY RESIDENTS
This is a standing agenda item. CAB Members will report on issues of
concern to community members within their CAB areas and the city as a
whole. Community members may use public comment during this item to
bring issues of concern to the CAB.
