NEW BUSINESS 3.1 PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT (PSA) WITH EKI ENVIRONMENT AND WATER, INC., FOR PREPARATION OF WATER DEMAND ANALYSIS AND WATER CONSERVATION MEASURES FOR 2020 URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLANS The California Urban Water Management Planning Act requires each urban water provider serving at least 3000 connections or providing 3,000 acre-feet of water per year to adopt an Urban Water Management Plan (UMWP) every five years for submittal to the State. Nine of Sonoma Water’s retail agencies (Cities of Santa Rosa, Cotati, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Sonoma, the Town of Winsor, and the Water Districts of Marin Municipal, North Marin, and Valley of the Moon) desire to collaborate on the preparation of updated analyses of water demand and water conservation measures. The City of Santa Rosa (City) will be the contracting agency with EKI Environment and Water, Inc., and a letter agreement between the City and the other water retail agencies will provide the mechanism for funding the PSA with EKI.
