NEW BUSINESS 3.1 PROPOSED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DATA INSTINCTS FOR PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT STRATEGY RELATED TO NORTH TRUNK SEWER REPLACEMENT PROJECT The proposed professional services agreement provides public communications and community engagement strategy services associated with the North Trunk Sewer Replacement - Mendocino Avenue to Terra Linda Drive project. Given the scope, schedule and potential impacts this 2-year construction project will have on our residents, community engagement is essential to present the project scope and schedule, potential impacts and the City’s plan to mitigate these impacts, and the City’s approach in the event of a potential or actual emergency. 3.2 PROPOSED PROJECT WORK ORDER WITH GREEN VALLEY CONSULTING ENGINEERS FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION RELATED TO THE NORTH TRUNK SEWER City of Santa Rosa Special Meeting Notice and Agenda Page 3 of 3 Contract Review Subcommittee AUGUST 13, 2020 REPLACEMENT - MENDOCINO AVENUE TO TERRA LINDA DRIVE The proposed project work order provides construction management and inspection services for the North Trunk Sewer Replacement 2-year construction contract. This project will address the existing lack of accessibility to the north trunk sewer main for routine maintenance and risks associated with traversing adjacent to and/or under an existing watercourse. The project will relocate/replace approximately 1,950 feet of sewer main located adjacent to Paulin Creek utilizing trenchless technology and 1,350 feet of existing sewer main in Mendocino Avenue and Lomitas Lane will be replaced. Approximately 1,900 feet of new water main will be installed to both increase and upgrade the existing water system and provide separation from the new sewer main. 4.
