1. CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chair Lemke called the meeting to order at 1:33 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Commissioner Olsen arrived at 1:39 p.m.
Present 5 - Vice Chair Helga Lemke, Commissioner Fran Bolduc, Commissioner
Stephen Burke, Commissioner Leora Johnson-Morgan, and
Commissioner Phil Olsen
Absent 2 - Chair David Harris, and Commissioner Wayne Downey Ph. D
3. STATEMENTS OF ABSTENTION
None.
4. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Duane Dewitt spoke regarding property owned by the City that have
no tenants. He urged the Housing Authority to become involved in
housing veterans.
Larry Florin, Burbank Housing, thanked Commissioner Burke for
attending the opening of the Crossroads. Mr. Florin also
acknowledged the Housing Authority for the role they played with
regards to that project and housing vulnerable populations.
5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
5.1 MARCH 26, 2018 - DRAFT MEETING MINUTES
Vice Chair Lemke approved the minutes as submitted.
6. CHAIRMAN/ COMMISSIONER REPORTS
Commissioner Burke reported that he attended the Crossroads
housing development, hosted by Burbank Housing.

9. REPORT ITEMS
9.1 REPORT - FISCAL YEAR 2018/19 HOUSING AUTHORITY BUDGET
ADOPTION
BACKGROUND: The Housing Authority’s annual budget process runs
concurrently with the City’s process from January through June each
year. The Executive Director of the Housing Authority is charged with
submitting an expenditure, revenue, and transfer budget for all Housing
Authority programs for approval by the Housing Authority
Commissioners, which then becomes the formal budget for the next
fiscal year. The Housing Authority is asked to adopt the budget at their
June meeting each year.
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Housing & Community
Services Department that the Housing Authority, by resolution, adopt
the proposed budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2018/19.

A motion was made by Commissioner Burke, seconded by Commissioner
Bolduc, to authoritze adoption of the proposed budget for Fiscal Year (FY)
2018/19, and waive reading of the text and adopt.
RESOLUTION NO. 1651 ENTITLED: RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018/19.
Yes: 5 - Vice Chair Lemke, Commissioner Bolduc, Commissioner Burke,
Commissioner Johnson-Morgan and Commissioner Olsen
Absent: 2 - Chair Harris and Commissioner Downey Ph. D
10. ADJOURNMENT
Vice Chair Lemke adjourned the meeting at 2:10 p.m.
