COMMISSION BUSINESS 4.1 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE The Planning Commission is charged with carrying out the California Planning and Zoning Laws in the City of Santa Rosa. SCHEDULED ITEM(S) 8.1 PUBLIC HEARING - CALIFORNIA ORGANICA INC.- CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - 1825 FERDINAND CT - CUP21-091 City of Santa Rosa Regular Meeting Agenda and Summary Report Page 3 of 4 Planning Commission - FINAL JUNE 23, 2022 BACKGROUND: California Organica Inc. is a proposed project that requires Major Conditional Use permit approval and includes the operation of an existing industrial building as a cannabis facility with onsite cannabis uses including Cannabis Manufacturing Level 1 (non-volatile) (2,788 SF), Distribution (3,481 SF), and Cultivation - 5,001 sq ft or greater (8,033 SF). An additional 1,572 SF of administrative office space would support the operation of the Cannabis - Distribution land use.
