Chair Weeks called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.

7.1 PRESENTATION - SANTA ROSA ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION PLAN
UPDATE
BACKGROUND - The Santa Rosa Transportation and Public Works
Department is conducting an update to the 2018 Bicycle and Pedestrian
Master Plan, to be renamed the Active Transportation Plan. The Bicycle
and Pedestrian Advisory Board will be the guiding advisory body for the
Active Transportation Plan. It is anticipated that the Plan will be adopted
by the City Council in the Spring of 2025. The item is exempt from the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

INCLUSIONARY HOUSING & GROWTH MANAGEMENT ANNUAL
REVIEW REPORT
The General Plan Annual Review Report will provide an overview of
progress made in 2023 toward achieving General Plan goals, policies,
and implementation measures.
PRESENTED BY: Sheila Wolski, City Planner
Project Planner Wolski presented.
Staff responded to Commissioner's questions.
Commissioners provided comments and feedback.

BACKGROUND: A request for a second one-year Time Extension for
an approved Tentative Subdivision Map for 16 single-family small lots
with associated road improvements on an approximately 2-acre site.

A motion was made by Vice Chair Duggan, seconded by Commissioner
Sanders, to approve as submitted:
RESOLUTION NO. PC-2024-008 ENTITLED: RESOLUTION OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A
SECOND ONE-YEAR TIME EXTENSION FOR THE TENTATIVE MAP FOR
THE HOLLY HOCK SUBDIVISION LOCATED AT 1650 MEDA AVENUE,
ASSESSOR’S PARCEL NUMBER 044-032-006. FILE NUMBER EXT24-002.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Yes: 5 - Chair Weeks, Vice Chair Duggan, Commissioner Carter,
Commissioner Peterson and Commissioner Sanders

The Planning Commission is charged with carrying out the California
Planning and Zoning Laws in the City of Santa Rosa. Duties include
implementing of plans, ordinances and policies relating to land use
matters; assisting in writing and implementing the General Plan and area
plans; holding public hearings and acting on proposed changes to the
Zoning Code, Zoning Map, General Plan, tentative subdivision maps, and
undertaking special planning studies as needed.
