WELCOME AND INTRODUCTIONS Meeting called to order at 9:10 a.m. 2. PUBLIC COMMENT None. 3. STAFF UPDATES New Assistant City Manager Daryel Dunston was introduced and Deputy Director Magali Telles announced she is leaving the City for a new position with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin. Partnership staff gave updates on the CHOICE Grant Program; Guiding People Successfully's new referral database called Compyle; and the pro-social activities database. 4. SCHEDULED ITEMS 4.1 inRESPONSE OVERVIEW Chief Cregan provided an update on the inRESPONSE Mental Health Response Team and announced the upcoming community meeting on January 19. 4.2 2022 ANNUAL SRPD STAFFING REPORT Captain Merincik from the Santa Rosa Police Department provided an update on firearm data for Santa Rosa. 4.3 SCHOOL CLIMATE UPDATE School representatives provided updates on safety drills, safety plan updates and training for staff. Superintendent of the Sonoma County Office of Education provided an update on mental health funding now coming into the county. Partnership staff provided an update on work being done at several Santa Rosa schools to address incidences of violence on campus and in the community that are directly impacting local youth. Initial discussion began around the need for City of Santa Rosa Meeting Minutes Page 2 of 2 Santa Rosa Violence Prevention Meeting Minutes January 18, 2023 Partnership early intervention services. 4.4 AGENCY ROUNDTABLE Community Matters is hosting a workshop in February on digital wellness and prevention of cyberbulling. Community Child Care Council (4Cs) of Sonoma County has additional funds for vouchers and will be enrolling up to 600 more children. The Center for Well-Being is beginning a community health worker pilot program training for middle school and high school students. Sonoma County Probation Chief Vanessa Fuchs announced that Larry Younger was awarded the Chief Probation Officer's Recognition Award. Evette Minor announced that the Sonoma County Office of Education will have a behavioral health justice workshop and fliers are available. 5.
