CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL 2. PUBLIC COMMENTS This is the time when any person may address matters not listed on this agenda, but which are within the subject matter of the jurisdiction. The public may comment on agenda items when the item is called. Each speaker is allowed three minutes. 3. COMMITTEE BUSINESS 3.1 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE The role of the Waterways Advisory Committee is to review development projects, both public and private, that are located adjacent to creeks and City of Santa Rosa Regular Meeting Agenda and Summary Report Page 2 of 3 Waterways Advisory Committee - FINAL JUNE 22, 2023 waterways for consistency with the goals, policies and regulations for creekside development identified in the Santa Rosa General Plan, Zoning Code, Design Guidelines and Citywide Creek Master Plan. While the Committee does not take formal action on projects, it does provide advisory comments to the decision-making body. All development projects located adjacent to a creek or waterway are required to be reviewed by the WAC prior to proceeding through the entitlement process. 3.2 COMMITTEE REPORTS 3.3 OTHER (i.e. VICE CHAIR ELECTION, NEW MEMBER INTRODUCTIONS) Chair Election Vice Chair Election 4.
