Cannery Project site.

Environmental Specialist Spongberg gave an annual report and
provided information about the upcoming Creek Week event.

Member inquiries.

6. SCHEDULED ITEMS
6.1 STUDY SESSION - DRAFT GENERAL PLAN- SANTA ROSA
FORWARD
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Planning & Economic
Development Department that the Waterways Advisory Committee
review and provide input on the Draft General Plan.

4. COMMITTEE BUSINESS
4.1 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The role of the Waterways Advisory Committee is to review development
projects, both public and private, that are located adjacent to creeks and
waterways for consistency with the goals, policies and regulations for
creekside development identified in the Santa Rosa General Plan, Zoning
Code, Design Guidelines and Citywide Creek Master Plan. While the
Committee does not take formal action on projects, it does provide
advisory comments to the decision-making body. All development projects
located adjacent to a creek or waterway are required to be reviewed by
the WAC prior to proceeding through the entitlement process.

This time is reserved for City staff to provide a briefing on issues of interest.
No action will be taken on these matters except to possibly place a particular
item on a future agenda for consideration.
