Page 3 of 5 City Council Pre-Agenda Meeting April 20, 2015 Discussion and Vote: Bond Resolution for Open Space Bond Act Funds Lynn Bachner, deputy commissioner, advised in 2003 the City approved a bond resolution that established bonding authority for up to $5 million pursuant to the Open Space Bond Act Referendum. After 10 years, bond resolutions are deemed repealed; therefore to bond further funds for open space purchases the Council needs to approve a new bond resolution. PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT Discussion and Vote: Authorization for the Mayor to Sign Agreement with Daedalus, Inc. – Spirit of Life No comments. Discussion and Vote: Authorization for the Mayor to Sign Time Extension Change Order – Weibel Avenue Landfill Gas System Upgrades Commissioner Scirocco advised the contractor can’t get a blower system within the contract timeframe; therefore, they are looking for a time extension. Announcement: Sale of Compost No comments. Announcement: Shared Services with the Town of Greenfield Commissioner Scirocco advised the Town of Greenfield is looking to borrow our sweeper. In the past they have hauled sand for us and helped us out in various situations. PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT Discussion and Vote: Public Safety Employee to Use CSEA City Hall Unit Sick Bank No comments.
