CALL TO ORDER Mayor Yepsen called the meeting to order at 2:06 p.m. Tony Izzo, assistant city attorney, advised the reason for this meeting is the issue is time sensitive. The City would like to attempt to purchase a parcel of land as recommended by the Real Estate Committee, which held a meeting this morning. This is an auction situation and if the price the City is willing to pay is publicized it could affect the outcome. The amount approved includes items that may be in addition to the purchase price. FINANCE DEPARTMENT Discussion and Vote: Budget Transfers for Land Purchase by Auction (16-038) Commissioner Madigan moved and Commissioner Franck seconded to approve the 2016 budget transfers for land purchase by auction which was distributed with the agenda. Ayes – All Discussion and Vote: Authorization for the Commissioner of Finance to Comply with and Sign Financial Requirements Relating to Land Purchase by Auction (16-039) Commissioner Madigan moved and Commissioner Scirocco seconded to approve the Commissioner of Finance or designee to comply with and sign all financial requirements relating to land purchase by auction. Ayes - All PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT Nothing at this time. PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT Discussion and Vote: Authorization for the Mayor to Sign Documents Relating to Land Purchase by Auction (16-040) Commissioner Madigan moved and Commissioner Franck seconded to authorize the mayor to sign any and all documents relating to land purchase by auction. Money is in line A3021344 / 54720 and the amount is not to exceed the recommended amount by the Real Estate Committee.
