Public WiFi Project for Congress Park – Commissioner Madigan advised Kevin Kling will be here to present this project. st 2. 1 Quarter 2017 Financial Report – Commissioner Madigan advised this will be an item under her agenda; not a presentation. Approve Budget Amendments – Insurance Reserve #5 No comments. MAYOR’S DEPARTMENT Discussion and Vote: Authorization to Pay Hadeka Stone Crop. Invoice No comments. Discussion and Vote: Accept Camp Saradac Scholarships No comments. Announcement: Saratoga Springs Recreation Programs and Leagues No comments. Discussion and Vote: Authorization for the Mayor to Sign Corporate Health Drug Testing Contract Ronnie Travers, President of the public sector for Human Resources Consultants, stated protocols have been added to contracts. Announcement: 2016 Municipal Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) & ZEV Infrastructure Rebate Program Award Tina Carton, sustainability coordinator, advised the City has been given a $16,000 rebate opportunity award for 2 charging stations in the new parking garage. There are specifics that need to be worked out as there is an existing contract for the installation of the charging stations dating back to the construction of the garage. Commissioner Scirocco stated he would like to see the charging stations on the third level so that parking spaces aren’t taken up on the lower levels for this. Commissioner Mathiesen asked if there will be time limits for the use of these spaces. Discussion and Vote: Approval to Make $2,500 Payment to Memorial Day Parade Committee Mayor Yepsen stated the parade is coming back to Broadway. Discussion and Vote: Formation of the City’s ADA Employee Committee Marilyn Rivers, director of risk and safety, advised this Committee will be in charge of putting together a formal ADA plan. They will need to look at every sidewalk in the city and catalog it. Announcement: Human Rights Town Hall Meeting in Music Hall on Monday, May 22nd at 7:30 p.m. No comments. th Announcement: Memorial Day Parade on Broadway Thursday, May 25 at 7:30 p.m. No comments. Mayor Yepsen advised she is adding an item to her agenda: Set a Public Hearing: Amend Capital Budget for Pitney Farm Money from the County. ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT Announcement: Grievance Day – May 23, 2017 No comments. FINANCE DEPARTMENT Saratoga Springs Housing Authority Paul Feldman of the Saratoga Springs Housing Authority advised they are in the final stage of a grant proposal for 24 new units at the Terrace. Of the 24 new units, 15% will serve veterans and 15% will service victims of domestic violence. They are looking for a waiver of PILOT payment and permit fees from the City. They will be applying for $4 million dollars. Commissioner Madigan advised she would like to get something on her agenda for tomorrow evening in the form of a letter of intent or a resolution to assist the Housing Authority. st 1 Quarter 2017 Financial Report No comments.
