Discussion: Cannabis Legislation and Establishment of Public Comment Period Vince DeLeonardis advised the governor recently made appointments to various boards in relation to this. Economic Development Loan Vince DeLeonardis advised the loan provided to AgroChem through the Planning and Economic Development Department has been satisfied. This is to discharge the loan. Update: 2022 Comprehensive Budget Commissioner Madigan advised the 2022 comprehensive budget will be presented at the next City Council meeting (October 5, 2021). Update: Mediation and Communication Services Commissioner Madigan advised she has not heard a word from Saratoga Black Lives Matters. She has been in touch with People’s Voice and their conversations went well. Mediation services have been placed on hold and we are not moving forward. Discussion and Vote: Authorization for the Mayor to Sign the City of Saratoga Springs Agreement for the Purchase and Sale of Streetlights with National Grid Commissioner Madigan advised she is bringing a few things back to the Council to bring to their attention. Discussion and Vote: Authorization for Mayor to Sign Agreement with Saratoga Housing Authority (SSHA) Re: ESD/NYSTEC Smart Cities Grant for LED Streetlights (Wi-Fi, Analytics, other) Commissioner Madigan advised she will be working with purchasing to pay invoices that might be associated and approved for the ESD/NYSTEC smart cities grant pilot program.
