Commissioner Madigan called the meeting to order at 10:02 a.m.

1. Amend Chapter 225 – Alternate Side of Street Parking on Beekman Street – Commissioner Dalton
advised this is to implement alternate side of the street parking on Beekman Street from Church Street
to West Circular.

1. Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) – Vince DeLeonardis, city attorney, advised they expect to
release the final version tomorrow and identify the changes incorporated from the Council workshops.

Discussion: Cannabis Legislation and Establishment of Public Comment Period
Vince DeLeonardis advised the governor recently made appointments to various boards in relation to this.
He will provide a review of the legislation. The website will be set up for public comments to be made on
this topic.

Commissioner Madigan advised the 2022 comprehensive budget will be presented at the next City Council
meeting (October 5, 2021).
Update: Mediation and Communication Services
Commissioner Madigan advised she has not heard a word from Saratoga Black Lives Matters. She has
been in touch with People’s Voice and their conversations went well. Mediation services have been placed
on hold and we are not moving forward.

Commissioner Madigan advised she is bringing a few things back to the Council to bring to their attention.
