Discussion and Vote: Authorization for the Mayor to Sign a “Right of First Refusal” Agreement with Mr. Sumeet Gupta for Property Purchased by the City from the Stewart’s Corporation Commissioner Golub advised this agreement relates to the land next to the Water Treatment Plant. The City purchased the land from Stewart’s Corporation for future expansion of the water plant. A local real estate developer wanted the land but stepped aside for the City’s need; however, the developer wants first right of refusal should the City does not do anything with that property. The City has three years to do something with the parcel, which would terminate the right of refusal.
