Mayor Kim called the meeting to order at 10:02 a.m.
Mayor Kim reminded the public that the City Council meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday, November
8, 2023, as the Council will not be meeting on Election Day.

Commissioner Moran advised they are going to make sure the changes are consistent and then will
evaluate the fees.
Mayor Kim asked if this item could be moved to the next Council meeting as this is a long agenda and the
Building Department hasn’t looked at this.
Commissioner Moran stated this is not an urgent issue. It can be moved to the next meeting.

Commissioner Sanghvi advised if the budget passes, two additional items will be added to her agenda for
the capital budget and right-sizing assignment.
Mayor Kim stated he is not ready to vote on the budget. This is an important document that should be
voted on in a separate meeting so it is the focus of the meeting. He received an uncollated copy and
would like to find a date to meet just on the budget.
Commissioner Sanghvi stated she can discuss finding another date. The budget is on the City’s website.
Commissioner Moran stated he would like to receive a copy of the budget in an Excel format.
Commissioner Golub asked for clarification if the vote will be taken Wednesday night on the budget.
Commissioner Sanghvi stated no; they can meet on November 14 or November 28. The presentation on
the budget will be moved to November 28 when the meeting on the budget is held.
