Participatory Budget Committee October 3, 2022, 5:30pm Minutes Committee Attendees: Mary Estelle Ryckman (Chair), Norah Brennan (Vice Chair), Devin Dal Pos, Danielle Lepper, and Tim Holmes Other Attendees: Heather Crocker Approval of Minutes: Minutes for the last meeting on August 28 were approved. A discussion of the status of all twenty projects occurred with a focus on whether the project might be on the ballot. No final decisions were made as some information that may affect two or three projects remains outstanding. The projects look to break down into four categories: a) requested work is already completed; b) suggested project is too large for PB budget; c) more work is needed on the project so likely held over to next year; and d) on the ballot for voting this year. The next discussion was on the work of the Committee over the remainder of 2022. The tentative timing for voting is early December which means the Committee will need to decide the final ballot, any presentation PowerPoint, and updates for website at the November 7 meeting. Once finalized, the Committee will send the ballot and other documents to the Office of Finance for approval. The Committee will use the November 21 meeting to finalize plans for public outreach and for voting. It was agreed that the next meeting will be on October 17, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. Meeting adjourned.
