May 5, 2015 ***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** May 5, 2015 OSCAR GRADY PUBLIC LIBRARY 151 S MAIN ST SAUKVILLE, WISCONSIN Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 7:44 p.m. Village Administrator Dawn Wagner gave the Statement of Public Notice. Members: Barb Dickmann-present, Dan Sauer-present, David Maglio-present, Mike Krocka-present, Michael Gielow-present, Joe Caban-present, and Scott Fischer-present. Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Mary Kay Baumann, Ray deBruijn, Ruth Ann Dobbs, Sally Kupkovitz, Roy Wilhelm, and Mark Jaeger PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS Roy Wilhelm requested that the Village consider reviewing their 5-Year Capital Plan to include raising a section of CTH W to reduce the chances of flooding. The current conditions hinder emergency access during flooding situations. APPROVE MINUTES OF APRIL 21, 2015 MEETING Sauer/Krocka made a motion to approve the April 21, 2015 minutes as presented. Motion carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT Dickmann read the Poppy Day Proclamation. Ruth Ann Dobbs distributed poppies to everyone and donations were made. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR None. ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS None. REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES Utility Committee No report. Public Works Committee No report. Public Safety Committee No report. Finance Committee Dickmann reported on the meeting of May 5, 2015. Discussion was held regarding Financial Management Planning. A meeting will be set up with Mike Harrigan, Ehlers. The Board had a tour of the new Digital Media Conversion Lab at the Library that will soon be available for public use.  May 5, 2015 Other Matters: Emergency Management, the Police Dept., and the Fire Dept. took part in the Community Emergency Preparedness day at the YMCA on Saturday, May 2nd. Future Utility meetings, as needed, will now be held on the first Tuesday of the month prior to the Finance Committee meeting. The Board will continue to receive updates with regard to the school construction project. The next Mid-Moraine dinner is scheduled for May 27th. If you are interested in attending, please contact Mary Kay. The Saukville Chamber will hold their Annual Golf Outing and Awards Dinner on June 9th. REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES Plan Commission No report. Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee No report. Library Board The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Mid-Moraine Municipal Association The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13th. Discussion will be held regarding body cameras. OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS None.
