Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
Village Clerk Mary Kay Baumann gave the Statement of Public Notice.
Members: Barb Dickmann-present, Dan Sauer-present, David Maglio-present, Michael Gielow-present, Joe
Caban-present, Richard Belling- present, and Scott Fischer-present

APPROVE MINUTES OF JANUARY 16, 2018 MEETING
Maglio/Fischer made a motion to approve the January 16, 2018 minutes as presented. Motion carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT

REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR
No report.
PUBLIC HEARING - to hear comments regarding a petition submitted by the Village of Saukville Water
Utility to adopt a Well Head Protection Ordinance for Well #6 (8:00 p.m.)
Wagner stated that the proposed ordinance was reviewed and recommended by the Plan Commission.
Wagner gave an overview of the proposed ordinance.
Wagner added that the ordinance is required by the DNR.
Hearing no other comments, Dickmann requested a motion to close the Public Hearing.
Fischer/Maglio made a motion to close the Public Hearing. Roll call vote was taken with all in favor.
Motion carried at 8:02 p.m.

Maglio/Fischer made a motion to waive the first reading of Ord. #782 – Well #6 Well Head Protection
Plan. Motion carried.
Fischer/Maglio made a motion to waive the reading of Ord. #782 – Well #6 Well Head Protection Plan.
Motion carried.
Fischer/Sauer made a motion to approve Ord. #782 – Well #6 Well Head Protection Plan. Motion carried.

Dickmann read Res. #1268 – 2017 Carryover Funds and Non-Lapsing Reserve Funds.
Caban/Belling made a motion to approve Res. #1268 – 2017 Carryover Funds and Non-Lapsing Reserve
Funds. Motion carried.
Res. #1269 – Fund Balance Applied – 2017
Dickmann read Res. #1269 – Fund Balance Applied – 2017
Gielow/Sauer made a motion to approve Res. #1269 – Fund Balance Applied – 2017. Motion carried.

Utility Committee
No report.
Public Works Committee
No report.
Public Safety Committee
No report.
Finance Committee
Dickmann reported on the meeting of February 6, 2018.
Committee went into Closed Executive Session with no action taken.
Res. #1268 – 2017 Carryover Funds and Non-Lapsing Reserve Funds was recommended for approval.
Res. #1269 – Fund Balance Applied – 2017 was recommended for approval.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the 2018 Engineering Services Agreement
with Ruekert & Mielke.
Belling/Maglio made a motion to approve the 2018 Engineering Services Agreement with Ruekert &
Mielke. Motion carried.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the Camera System Projects: Police
Department – Fire Department – Grady Park.
Maglio/Gielow made a motion to approve the Camera System Projects: Police Department – Fire
Department – Grady Park to be funded through expenditure restraint fund, fund balance, and carryover
funds. Motion carried.
A recommendation was made to approve the Water Tower Paint/Repair Bids.
Maglio/Fischer made a motion to approve the Water Tower Paint/Repair Bid with Lane Tank at a cost of
$101,300 and Dixon Engineering cost of $18,352. Motion carried.
Other Matters:
The Well #1 system will be updated instead of abandoning.
Well #5’s system will be updated after Well #1 is complete.
There is staff training scheduled to include Active Shooter Training and Non-Harassment Training.
The Village’s economic profile has been updated on the website.
OED will be hosting its Annual Outreach Event at Shulley’s on March 15th.

Plan Commission
Dickmann reported on the meeting of February 6, 2018.
Minutes from the January 2, 2018 meeting were reviewed and approved.
A sign change request for St. Peter’s UCC was reviewed and approved.
Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee
No report.
Library Board
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
Mid-Moraine Municipal Association
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, 2018.
OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS
Fischer/Maglio made a motion to approve an Operator License Application for Krueger for Railroad
Station and Becker for Beck’s Exxon. Motion carried.
LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS
None
CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED
None
ADJOURNMENT
Fischer/Maglio made a motion to adjourn. Motion carried at 8:09 p.m.
