Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
Village Clerk Mary Kay Baumann gave the Statement of Public Notice.
Members: Barb Dickmann-present (via conference call), Dan Sauer-present, David Maglio-present,

Maglio/Fischer made a motion to approve the February 6, 2018 minutes as presented. Motion carried.

Maglio/Fischer made a motion to waive the first reading of Ord. #783 – Tree Species. Motion carried.

Maglio/Belling made a motion to approve Res. #1270 – Consideration of Approval to Advance $60,000 to
General Fund from Water Utility. Motion carried.
REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES
Utility Committee
Sauer stated that discussion was held and a recommendation was made to the Finance Committee to
approve the purchase of a new generator for the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Public Works Committee
Fischer stated that discussion was held and a recommendation was made to the Finance Committee to
approve the purchase of a lawn tractor. The old unit will go to auction.
Fischer stated that discussion was held and a recommendation was made to the Finance Committee to
approve the purchase of a tractor for the baseball fields.
Fischer stated that Ord. #783 – Tree Species was reviewed and recommended to the Village Board for
approval.
Public Safety Committee
Maglio stated that discussion was held regarding snow/ice removal from Village sidewalks. No action was
taken.
Maglio reported that the Fire Department had 90 fire calls and 394 ambulance calls in 2017. The
ambulance calls were up by 50 from 2016.
Finance Committee
Dickmann reported on the meeting of March 6, 2018.
Claims in the amount of $969,642.00 were reviewed and approved.
The Investment Report was reviewed.
The Saukville Chamber of Commerce Tourism Budget and Tourism Promotion Plan for 2018 were reviewed
and approved with a budget of $41,715.
Res. #1270 – Consideration of Approval to Advance $60,000 to General Fund from Water Utility was
reviewed and recommended for approval.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the not-to-exceed amount of $56,710 for the
purchase of a 2017 Toro Demo.
Maglio/Gielow made a motion to approve the purchase of a 2017 Toro Demo at a not-to-exceed amount
of $56,710 to be paid from the borrowing from Water Utility.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the not-to-exceed amount of $26,680 for the
purchase of a baseball diamond tractor to be paid from the DPW Equipment Replacement Fund.
Caban/Maglio made a motion to approve the purchase of a baseball diamond tractor for a non-to-exceed
amount of $26,680 to be paid from the DPW Equipment Replacement Fund. Motion carried.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the purchase of a Wastewater Treatment
Plant Generator from J. Miller Electric for a not-to-exceed amount of $133,969.
Sauer/Maglio made a motion to approve the purchase of a generator from J. Miller Electric for a not-to-
exceed amount of $133,969. Motion carried.

A recommendation was made to approve the new Ambulance Billing Rates.
Maglio/Fischer made a motion to approve the new Ambulance Billing Rates as presented. Motion carried.
Committee went into Closed Executive Session with no action being taken.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to appoint Rob Meyer Police Chief for the Saukville
Police Department effective May 17, 2018.
Caban/Sauer made a motion to approve the appointment of Rob Meyer as Police Chief for the Saukville
Police Department effective May 17, 2018. Roll call vote was taken with Maglio abstaining. Motion
carried.
Other Matters:
Matt Greenwood has resigned from the Village creating an opening in the Public Works Department for a
full-time employee. Ads have been placed in the local papers and on the Village’s website.
Employees have completed mandatory non-harassment training.
On Friday, March 9th employees will be participating in Active Shooter Training at the Police Department
at 7:00 a.m.
The Finance Committee will be meeting on Tuesday, March 27th for a Financial Management Planning
Session.
OED’s Annual Outreach Event will be held on March 15th at Shully’s. Please inform Dawn if you would like
to attend.
REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES
Plan Commission
Dickmann reported on the meeting of March 6, 2018.
Minutes from the February 6, 2018 meeting were reviewed and approved.
Discussion was held and approval given for a dumpster enclosure at VCA Animal Hospital.
An Ordinance amending Certificates of Compliance for Institutional Districts was reviewed, approved, and
recommended to the Village Board for Public Hearing.
Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee
No report
Library Board
Caban reported on the meeting of February 13, 2018.
The Library Board welcomed new member, Sandy Schulz.
The Annual Report was reviewed.
Jen Gerber was asked to again be part of a Library Leadership Group.
The new flooring is being installed at the Library.
Jen Gerber was asked to be part of the Ozaukee/Washington Mental Health Committee.
March 6, 2018
Mid-Moraine Municipal Association
The February meeting was cancelled. The next meeting is scheduled for March 14th.
OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS
Fischer/Maglio made a motion to approve Operator License Applications for Parbs and Hess for Firehouse
Restaurant and Dvoran for Beck’s Green Bay Ave Mart. Motion carried.
LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS
None
CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED
None
ADJOURNMENT
Fischer/Maglio made a motion to adjourn. Motion carried at 8:14 p.m.
