Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
Village Clerk Mary Kay Baumann gave the Statement of Public Notice.
Members: Barb Dickmann-present, David Maglio-absent, Joe Caban-absent, Richard Belling-
present, Scott Fischer-present, Trevor Seitz-present, and Jim Nowlen-present.
Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Vicki Lee, Ray deBruijn, Sean Sullivan-Ruekert & Mielke, Tim
Lewein, and Dan Benson-Ozaukee Press.

CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS
None.
APPROVE MINUTES OF JANUARY 8, 2019 MEETING
Maglio/Fischer made a motion to approve the January 8, 2019 minutes as presented. Motion
carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT
No report.
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR
No report.
PUBLIC HEARING – To Hear Comments Regarding Special Assessments for Public
Improvements – South Tower Street and Bucktrout Street
Sean Sullivan, Ruekert & Mielke, stated that the costs for the South Tower Street and Bucktrout
Street project came in higher than anticipated.
Sullivan stated that there will be a part-time R & M representative on site. That representative
will be on site to answer any questions affected residents might have during the project.
Sullivan stated that this project is a standard overlay project. Residents will be able to drive
through the area at all times. The storm sewer install on Church Street may cause some
disruption.
Tim Lewein, resident, asked if he owned the sidewalks, curbs, and right-of-ways.
Wagner reminded Lewein of the Village’s Special Assessment Policy and that the Village has a
legal right per State Statutes to levy special assessments against affected property owners.
January 22, 2019
Sullivan added that they will only be replacing defective, cracked, or broken sidewalks and
curbs.
Sullivan stated that ADA ramps will be installed during replacement. These ramps are not
accessed to property owners.
Lewein asked if the ramps would be wide enough. Sullivan stated that ADA standards will be
followed.
Hearing no further comments, Dickmann requested a motion to close the Public Hearing.
Belling/Nowlen made a motion to close the Public Hearing. Roll call vote was taken with all in
favor. Motion carried.
ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS
Res. #1289 – Final Resolution Authorizing Public Improvements and Levying Special
Assessments Against Benefitted Properties
Fischer/Belling made a motion to waive the reading of Res. #1289 – Final Resolution Authorizing
Public Improvements and Levying Special Assessments Against Benefitted Properties. Motion
carried.
Fischer/Nowlen made a motion to approve Res. #1289 – Final Resolution Authorizing Public
Improvements and Levying Special Assessments Against Benefitted Properties. Motion carried.

Utility Committee

Finance Committee
Dickmann reported on the meeting of January 22, 2019.
Claims for November and December were reviewed and approved.
The Investment Report was reviewed.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve Stark Pavement Corp as the low
bidder for the Tower Street and Bucktrout Street Project.
Seitz/Fischer made a motion to approve Stark Pavement Corp for the Tower Street and
Bucktrout Street project at a cost of $243,688. Motion carried.
Other Matters:
The Community Rivers Program will be holding a Snow Shoeing event on February 24th.
The State of the Community Address will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd at the Saukville
American Legion.
Chief Meyer is spending the week at new Police Chief training.

Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee
Dickmann reported on the meeting of January 22, 2019.
Minutes from the October 2, 2018 meeting were reviewed and approved.
A request for 5 new signs at ACI Industries was reviewed and approved.
Dickmann stated that Kohler will be submitting, at the February meeting, for parking and site
modifications.
Library Board
No report.
Mid-Moraine Municipal Association
No report.
OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS
Fischer/Seitz made a motion to approve Operator License Applications for Boylen for Rallytime
and Schaefer for Beck’s Green Bay Ave Mart. Motion carried.
LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS
None.
CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED
None.
ADJOURNMENT
Fischer/Nowlen made a motion to adjourn to February 12, 2019. Motion carried at 8:13 p.m.
