Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m.
Village Clerk Mary Kay Baumann gave the Statement of Public Notice.
Members: Barb Dickmann-present, David Maglio-present, Richard Belling- present, Scott
Fischer-present, Trevor Seitz-present, Jim Nowlen-present, and Andy Hebein-present.
Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Mary Kay Baumann, Chief Meyer, Chief Trinko, Maureen Hartjes,

Charlie Peterson stated that he was attending the meeting as part of his Merit Badge-Citizenship in the
Community.
APPROVE MINUTES OF APRIL 21, 2020 MEETING
Nowlen/Hebein made a motion to approve the April 21, 2020 minutes as presented. Motion carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT
Dickmann read a proclamation recognizing the Annual Poppy Day-May 22, 2020.
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR
None.

Res. #1310 – 2019 CMAR REPORT
Hebein/Nowlen made a motion to waive the reading of Res. #1310 – 2019 CMAR Report. Motion carried.
Seitz/Hebein made a motion to approve Res. #1310 – 2019 CMAR Report. Motion carried.
REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES
Utility Committee
Fischer reported on the meeting of May 19, 2020.
Res. #1310-CMAR Report was reviewed and recommended to the Village Board for approval.
Dickmann congratulated the Utility Dept. on a job well done.
Hartmann provided and update on the WWTP Facility Upgrade. The project is expected to begin in June of
2020 and be completed by May of 2023.
Public Works Committee

Public Safety Committee
No report.

Finance Committee
Dickmann reported on the meeting of May 19, 2020.
Claims for April 2020 in the amount of $779,661.68 were reviewed and approved.
The Budget Watch and Investment Report were reviewed.
Res. #1310 was reviewed and recommended to the Village Board for approval.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the Settlement of Pending Lawsuit and Release
of Property Damage Claim for Fire Hydrant Replacement Adjacent to STH ##. (Village of Saukville vs. Kaitlyn
M. Ragghianti, et al., Case #2019CV000158).
Nowlen/Hebein made a motion to approve the Settlement of Pending Lawsuit and Release of Property
Damage Claim for Fire Hydrant Replacement Adjacent to STH ##. (Village of Saukville vs. Kaitlyn M.
Ragghianti, et al., Case #2019CV000158). Motion carried.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the Summer Day Camp Lease Agreement –
YMCA.
Hebein/Nowlen made a motion to approve the Summer Day Camp Lease Agreement – YMCA. Motion
carried.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the Summer Events Plan cancelling summer
events, with the possibility of a concert and fireworks on Labor Day.
Nowlen/Maglio made a motion to approve the Summer Events Plan cancelling summer events, Live @ the
Triangle and 4th of July Festivities & Fireworks with the possibility of a concert and fireworks on Labor Day.
Motion carried.
Other Matters:
Dickmann reported that Baumann made the General Code Municipal Clerk Honor Roll.
Hartjes received a scholarship to the Treasurer’s Institute.
Village Hall and the Library are planning to reopen on June 1st. The Library will do a phased opening.
Signage will be put at Grady Park celebrating the 4th of July.

Plan Commission
Dickmann reported on the meeting of May 19, 2020.
Replacement signage for Subway was reviewed and approved.
Other Matters:
Starbucks will be submitting signage applications for the June Plan Commission meeting.
Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee
No report.
Library Board
Hebein reported on the meeting of May 12, 2020.
Hebein stated that items being pulled for distribution are up compared to what they were prior to the
pandemic.
The Summer Reading Program and Storytime will be held virtually.
