Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m.
Village Clerk Mary Kay Baumann gave the Statement of Public Notice.
Members: Barb Dickmann-present, David Maglio-absent, Richard Belling- present, Scott
Fischer-present, Trevor Seitz-present, Jim Nowlen-present, and Andy Hebein-present(via
Zoom).
Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Mary Kay Baumann, Chief Meyer, Ray deBruijn (via Zoom), Austin R
(via Zoom) and Dan Benson – Ozaukee Press (via Zoom)

APPROVE MINUTES OF AUGUST 4, 2020 MEETING
Seitz/Fischer made a motion to approve the August 4, 2020 minutes as presented. Motion carried.

PUBLIC HEARING – TO HEAR COMMENTS REGARDING A ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT REQUESTED
BY VILLAGE STAFF TO CREATE §205-50.J(1)(b)[1][e] OF THE VILLAGE ZONING ORDINANCE TO ALLOW
FITNESS, RECREATIONAL AND SPORTS FACILITIES AS A COMMERCIAL USE IN THE TND TRADITIONAL
NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT (7:39)
Wagner stated that this text amendment involves the Ansay Development-Destination Saukville Project. This
amendment would allow for a sports facility in the development.
Hearing no comments, Dickmann requested a motion to close the Public Hearing.
CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING
Nowlen/Fischer made a motion to close the Public Hearing. Roll call vote was taken with all in favor.
Motion carried.

Seitz/Nowlen made a motion to waive the first reading of Ord. #804 - Creating §205-5J(1)(b)1e (3-12-20) TND
Traditional Neighborhood Development District. Motion carried.
Nowlen/Fischer made a motion to waive the reading of Ord. #804 - Creating §205-5J(1)(b)1e (3-12-20) TND

Finance Committee
Dickmann reported on the meeting of August 18, 2020.
Approved claims for July 2020 in the amount of $371,718.60.
Review the Budget Watch and Investment Report.
Greg Johnson, Ehlers & Associates, reviewed the Village’s Financial Management Plan.
No action was taken on amending the Village’s code regarding the Village Board Agenda.
Committee went into Closed Executive Session with no action being taken.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve a 1-year contract with the Labor Association of
Wisconsin (LAW) for 2021.
Nowlen/Belling made a motion to approve a 1-year contract with the Labor Association of Wisconsin (LAW)
for 2021. Motion carried.

Nowlen stated that all meetings have been suspended until January 2021.

CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED
deBruijn gave an update on the State Project on Mill St and STH 33. He stated that they are replacing all stop
lights and this project is separate from the bridge project.

Nowlen/Fischer made a motion to adjourn. Motion carried at 7:47 p.m.
